STRUCTURAL FEATURES
1 The design and manufacture of this product fully meet the requirements of API Spec 6A,《Specification for Wellhead and Christmas Tree Equipment》.It can be used with and interchangeable with the domestic and imported equipment conforming to API Spec 6A
2 This valve uses a “floating” slab gate (not a wedge gate).The free float of the metallic gate between metallic seats, with the aid of sealing compound and a medium, effects sealing of this valve.
3 The seal between the bonnet and body, which are jointed by using bolts, is a sealing ring, simplifying the structure and ensuring sealing properties.
4 This gate valve uses a rising stem design. The hand wheel is clearly marked with the arrows indicating the directions of hand wheel rotation to open or close the valve.
5 The stem seal are two type“BA”lip rings made of rubber plastics, which not only ensures sealing properties but also minimices the operation torque so as to make it easy to
open and close the valve.
6 The use of carbide alloy overlays on surfaces of the gate and seat enables them to have good wear and corrosion resistance, the stem is made of a special stainless steel exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance, and the other parts use the method of hardness restriction. Therefore, this valve can be used in H2S service.
7 The alemite fitting on the bearing cap is specially provided for bearing lubrication, facilitating pumping lubricating grease in the field.
