OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1 The gate, a closure member that moves in the direction perpendicular to the centerline of the passageway, is effective only in bloking the pssageway. Therefore, this valve is not intended to be used as a choke value, which mean that valve must be in either the full open or full closed position as it works.
Important: During operation, leaving the valve in the half close position is prohibited.
2 Rotate the hand wheel counter-clockwise until the gate valve is in the full open position, and back off the hand wheel 1/4—1/2 turn. 
3.3 Rotate the hand wheel clockwise until the gate valve is in the full closed position, and back off the hand wheel 1/4—1/2 turn.
4 Do not tie the hand wheel with a hoisting rope during transportation.
5 During operation, rotate the hand wheel slowly to allow the gate to move freely at time when the hand wheel rotation will soon end.
